valentine's day 2nd week of school.

Listening to: Howling - Abingdon Boys School

I AM FRAZZLED.

School is just so bloody energy-sapping. I wonder how the hell did I survive the past 10 years of education in the freakin' same goddamn building. Its just the 2nd week of school and we're already having Sukan Tara practice. The one event that I dread in the beginning of the year. Why? Cause I can't take long naps in the afternoon!

*goes into a frenzy*

Okay, time to minus the ranting. Its a holiday tomorrow and I REALLY NEED IT. Every morning I go to school looking like a dead woman. Adui. I miss waking up late. How come beds are unusually enticing especially early in the morning when you're forced to wake up?

Hmm, school is rather okay. All the teachers are likable, heck even the CHINESE and ADD MATHS teacher. Unlike last year when some teachers were asking for reasons to be hated. I noticed that most of my class' teachers are unmarried O_o

My chinese teacher - Cik Low Chiu Yen. She was absent on Tuesday cause she had some matters to attend to. And you know what she did? She told us that we were to use her two periods to write an account on what happened last week, more or less like a WEEKLY JOURNAL, into our ESSAY book. Like WTF man. And we had to pass it up on that day itself. *spurts blood*

I hate writing chinese essays!!! Cause I'm like, totally retarded in it. Plus, its one of my MOST HATED SUBJECTS.

The 'banana' gang in our class (including me), were in deep shit. Cassie is completely buta Chinese. She's worse than me, I suppose. Cause this would make it her 11th year in a Chinese school but she can't read Chinese. SERIOUSLY. No joke. CASSIE YOU'RE MY IDOL! GOD BLESS YOU. In my case, I can't just shun Chinese because my sister....speaks more Chinese than English now.

Mah lord. The curse of being in a chinese school has stained my sister. Someone, please lead my sister back to salvation. Thank you.

Vina wrote the MOST INSPIRING journal EVER!! *sheds tear*

Her journal is something like this: [translated from Chinese to English, duh]

"Holidays are over. And its time to go back to school. Teacher, actually I've paused for 20 minutes before writing that sentence because I seriously have no idea what to write. My Chinese is execrable. It is very painful to try to write a 200-word Chinese essay for me.

However, I have to agree with you. Although I hate Chinese, I can't hate the subject and deny its importance in this world. More and more people are trying to learn Chinese, even the Caucasians. Blah blah blah yadda yadda yadda.

See? I've actually written a 200-word essay already."

Yup, that's the gist of it.

I salute you, Vina.

I wanted to write something like that too... but I already started writing half. So, no turning back. I was trying to remember what I wrote in my blog about the first two days of school and slowly slowly translate it into Chinese. But the bloody thing is, the words kept coming to me in English. I even yelled to Mayshan - "Grant me salvation!" And she thought there was a screw loose in my brain. Haha.

But in the end, I completed that onerous task. My ordeal is OVER. I don't care if the teacher admonishes me for writing such a terrible Chinese essay cause I don't give a fuck to it. AT LEAST I handed in my work on time.

NEW CLASS RECORD - My History teacher ACTUALLY said "BULLSHIT" in front of the whole class while teaching. Haha.

Wennie [the whale] told me that.... there are BRAND NEW computers in the Computer Lab! OMG. She said they were black and sleek, GENUINE Windows XP edition too. Gosh. I so need to break into the Computer Lab and smuggle some NEW computers away. Computers are my first love <3

On a side note, my grandpa is dying. He was admitted into the hospital last week. Earlier this week, he has gotten so weak that the doctor said that he only has a few more days to live and told us to brace ourselves for the worst to come.

I feel like crying.
