Last watched: Linebarrels of Iron episode 6

Don't get me wrong, I do love my job. Very much, in fact. But no matter how fun it is, it's still tiring. All my energy's drained.
I came back and slept at 8pm. Woke up half an hour later to bathe and now, blog.
Why am I even talking about my mundane routine of life? I should be talking about my job!
Today was my 2nd day at work. Yesterday, I worked at the popcorn bar and the ticket counter. All the staff are so friendly and nice! They love to joke around a lot too. It was an interesting experience, and it also gives me a sense of satisfaction because I was able to fulfill the customers' needs.
POPCORN BAR
Working at the popcorn bar is tempting, because even though you can smell the delicious smell of popcorn, you can't eat it. Not when other people are looking anyway ;) You can get free soft drinks too! Saw Jie Min and Denise while working. They're good enough to buy a large Coke from me! Haha.
But some customers like to kacau. One Malay dude just bought 2 bottles of mineral water, which only costs like, 4 bucks. He gave me a 100-dollar note. Apalah lu.
TICKET COUNTER
Ticket counter... it was okay. You guys all know how bad my Canto sucks right? Well guess what, my first customer was an old man who slurred in Canto -_- Epic failure. It was like communicating with an alien. Thank god the guy at the next counter was a Chinese and I had to ask for his help. How embarrassing.
And god, can you imagine HOW MANY PEOPLE keep saying the names of the movies wrongly? Especially The Day The Earth Stood Still. Those people, I dunno how they twist it into their own words. Two Mandarin speaking guys even came to me and said "Uh... na tao xi jiao shen me ming zi liao ah?" (What is the show called again?) And I immediately understood right away it was The Day The Earth Stood Still.
Oh and Twilight also. One girl came to me and said "I wanna buy tickets for TWEE-LIGHT please." I was like O.o "Uh... TWAI-LIGHT, izzit?" Geez.
Communicating with people isn't the easiest job in the world. After serving two customers I felt tired. I even had to speak in all sorts of languages. English, Malay, Mandarin, Cantonese... please, no Tamil.
TELE-SALES
But answering telephone calls IS the easiest job in the world.
Very relaxing too. You can read a story book or listen to your music while waiting for phone calls.
Seriously, I am amazed at the amount of people making reservations for Cicak Man 2, even though, in my opinion, it's the lamest movie ever in the history of lamest movies.
And again, some people still like to kacau. One Malay lady called and asked me for the telephone number of GSC cinema. Elo, mak cik, tengok surat khabar lah.
That was mean, I know, but of course I didn't say it out!
I'll be answering phone calls this whole week. So if any of you guys wanna book tickets, just call my cell =)
I'm tired. Head's starting to ache again. Off to bed in about 15 minutes. *yawns*
