I'm feeling very distraught right now.

Speaking of which, working at the ticket counter today really got on my nerves. I don't usually get agitated at such trivial things but when you've been facing the same type of people over and over again, you're bound to get fed up.

Screw the previous list I made about the types of customers whom I dislike.

Cause right now, I'm officially sick of serving "The Couples."

A boy and a girl who are in a relationship.

It's sickening, watching them getting all lovey-dovey right in front of you.

Scene 1.
Me: *waits for next customer*

A couple arrives.

Me: Yes? *smiles*

Girl: Oi, you say lah. *nudges boyfriend*

Boy: No, you say! *nudges back*

Girl: What, you say lah. Say lah.

Boy: Why won't you say?

Me: (Why the FUCK won't you both say it so I can be spared from your mindless bicker? *mentally rolls eyes* )

Please note that they didn't look at me at all. It was like I was a complete see-through.


Scene 2.
Me: *still waiting for customers*

A couple arrives, standing quite a distance away, looking up to the display screens for the movie schedule.

Me: Sigh *waits patiently*

Couple is done looking. Then, they walk up to my counter.

Me: Yes? *smiles*

Couple looks up at display screen again.

Me: =.= *tries to remain smiling for the next 2 minutes.*

Girl: Erm, Bedtime Stories, 2.45pm. *leans closely to boyfriend*

Me: *clicks the order*

Boy: Eh, why, choose the 12 something one lah.

Girl: Okay okay.

Me: *deletes previous order and keys in new order*

Girl: Er, wait! *mutters something to boyfriend*

Boy: Okay, we take the 2.45 one.

Me: (WTH) *deletes order and keys in the new order*

Girl: *mutters some more stupid stuff into boyfriend's ear*

Boy: *mutters back*

Girl: Erm, sorry ya, we're not buying.

And they leave.

Me: (What the hell is their problem???)


Scene 3
Me: Okay, so I'll give you second row from the back, middle seat, is that okay?

Boy: Middle okay? *looks at girlfriend*

Girl: What, why not side?

Boy: Middle is nicer.

Girl: Side is easier to walk out.

Me: (Pfft, yeah, and easier to make love too.)

Boy: Okay, we one two som.

*plays rock paper scissors*

Me: O.O

Boy wins.

Boy: Haha! Okay, miss, we'll take the middle seat.

Me: *completely stunned* Uh... okay.


Freakin' couples. You're not the only loving couple in the whole wide world okay? No need to show off. Geez.

Vina came back from Australia!! She, June, Wennie and Chooi Yuen came to the cinema today to surprise me and Tracy. I just had to put the COUNTER CLOSED sign and walk out to hug her. God, I've missed you Vina. Don't go back to Aussie, please :(

Daddy has a surprise for me and my sis tomorrow. And we just can't stop guessing! I'm betting on a new LCD screen TV, a PS3, or maybe a new car? Lol. One can only dream.
