I'm back!

Yes, I'm acutely aware of the fact that it's already the 4th of February and this is just my first post of the month. And for that, I'm ashamed.

It has been a busy busy week, ever since I went back to work on the 3rd day of CNY, which was last Wednesday (oh my, it's been a week). Things were extremely hectic, and I didn't know that the majority of the citizens in Ipoh love to spend their CNY in the cinema.

I mean, CNY's the most festive time of the year where you pray at temples, do some visiting or just entertain your guests at home, and not just glue your butt on the comfy seats of the cinema for several hours to watch a movie??

I'm not mad. Just appalled.

Oh why bother, the CNY holidays are already over! Woohooo! Now that the adults have all gone back to work, and the students are confined to school just like how they should be, the cinema's back to it's Siberia-ish atmosphere.

I swear, I'll never, ever complain about TGV being like Siberia again. The best part is, I'm being paid for doing nothing! Haha!

Putting my unentertaining life aside, I found something really interesting last night while I was lurking around Wikipedia. (Yes, that's what I do when I'm tired and have nothing else better to do).

Alice in Wonderland (link), one of Disney's many famous classics, is going to be adapted into a movie! Directed by Tim Burton (oh boy, it's going to be so un-Disney with him as director).

It's coming to theatres in 2010!

The cast list is nothing but star-studded.

But firstly, I have to say, I have no idea about the actress who is playing Alice. Mia Wasi-something.

She'll be playing the White Queen. I'm not sure about her character but after doing some research, apparently the White Queen is the younger sister of the Red Queen who was banished. Looks like the old animated version left the White Queen out.

Can't find a picture of his character. Go watch Alice in Wonderland the cartoon movie again and you might know. I think the Knave of Hearts is the one who stole the Queen's tarts away and appeared in trial for tart robbery.... This is really testing my memory.

The actor choice for Tweedledee and Tweedledum is Matt Lucas. I'm lazy to google for pics anymore so if you're curious, go google Matt Lucas. He's a bald dude.

P/S Thank you guys, for your supportive comments for my previous post! I love you all! And I seriously did not know why I kept quiet about it, I guess interacting with all types of customers has increased my tolerance, even towards assholes like him. I just didn't wanna fan the flames. I can't have the manager thinking that he hired a vulgar person to work, which I actually am one, but that's not the point. Maybe when I'm about to resign from work, I shall scream some profanities in THAT ASSHOLE's donkey face ;)
