valentine's day I think this picture shows you exactly what Mrs. Jetplane did at the wedding this weekend. It was a wonderful event and I'm so glad we were able to make it. Rain or Shine, we were attending... and we encountered plenty of rain. Trying to get out of Florida was a little tough, roads were flooded and traffic diverted, but the Jetplanes soldiered on.
I hope to post a couple more pictures later this week, but right now I wanted to share with you one of the sweetest wedding speeches I have ever heard.
The groom's father got up to tell us, just a little bit about his son. He's a kind man, a promising young attorney, and a rabid UGA fan. He loves his family and his wife, but most importantly he has a big heart.
The father continued... one year the night before Easter the groom's older sister decided at 12 she was too old for an Easter basket and wanted to stay up and help her parents get the gifts ready for the other, younger kids. R, the groom, got up early, so excited to see what the Easter Bunny had brought him. He followed the trail of jelly beans from his room to the Easter baskets but was shocked to see that one Easter basket was missing... his older sister's. He didn't want her to feel left out. So, he found a basket around the house and took out over half of his goodies to make her an Easter basket...
Its that not the sweetest thing you've ever heard? I started crying....
