More Cupcakes in Chicago recently put its first cupcake truck on the road in late October. In the first few days, they were giving away free cupcakes galore. They are normally on the road a few days during the week and they hit all the city's hot spots. Part of the joy of the cupcake truck is in not knowing exactly where and when it might show up. Sort of like a quiet Ice Cream Man of cupcakes with the silent song of
Twitter.

I was able to try the luscious Cookies & Cream Cupcake along with the Coconut Cupcake straight from the truck. One of the features of this van is that there is a lighted display case right on the side of it. How do they get the cupcakes to stay in place while in motion?! It's a mystery.
