The place was PACKED!! Wall to wall kids and people there to celebrate cupcakes and community.
Cupcake Royale had a live band playing children's music to entertain... and boy did they ever! This small cupcake shop was filled with music that made the little kids dance and bounce everywhere!
Oohhh how sweet was this.... a cupcake sprinkle station, FREE to everyone who bought cupcakes!
Jodi Hall, owner of Cupcake Royale, was on hand to mingle with the customers, say hello and celebrate 7 great years of cupcakes! While we were there, we picked up Cupcake Royale's two seasonal cupcakes. Rum Ball and Eggnog. And let me tell you... they did not disappoint.
The Rum Ball was covered in nuts on top, so I wasn't able to try that one (I'm allergic :( ) BUT... my hubby tasted it and said it was REALLY good! I loved seeing something different on top of their cupcake other than their signature swirl. It was a fun deviation!
The Eggnog was definitely my favorite though. I absolutely love the density of the cupcake. You really feel like you're getting a lot of cake for your buck with this one! And the eggnog frosting.... the perfect combination of spices and eggnog. It was almost sinfull.
We took home a triple threat and a chocolate on vanilla too. Mmmmmm I can't wait to snack on those tonight!
The next time you visit Seattle, make sure you check out one of Cupcake Royale's five locations so you can taste the ORIGINAL cupcake in Seattle!
