valentine's day One of my favorite "hidden" cupcake bakeries in San Francisco is the Sweet Things bakery located inside the Cal-Mart in Laurel Village. These cupcakes are always adorably decorated and delicious.
Mini's are available for $1.15 to $1.20 each and full sized cupcakes {slightly larger than average} range from $2.50 to $2.75. These are definitely some of the lowest priced cupcakes in the city and with small batches baked daily, they are always fresh!

The butter bites {orange for Fall} are my absolute favorite offering. There is something indescribably magical about the buttermilk cake and rich buttercream frosting. In addition, I've yet to come across a cupcake of theirs that I didn't thoroughly enjoy.
