valentine's day Yesterday, I had the pleasure of hanging out with Daniel Delaney of VendrTV to bake a batch of cupcakes at The Brooklyn Kitchen. I adapted a chocolate cupcake recipe I found using the Epicurious app on my phone. I also made a peppermint buttercream frosting. The key to using a peppermint extract is that a little goes a long way. If I had candy canes, I would garnished the cupcakes with the candy canes. There will be video of the baking that I will post later this week.
