valentine's day Ending the day on a lighter note...

Well, I'm still uber sick but I promised that I'd share some details from this weekend.

So the girl fight....

Our party was going well, we had 2 tables reserved at the bar. The drinks were flowing and we were all getting our groove on. Then a group of other girls were dancing behind us, one of which was very short (less than 5ft, since I'm 5'2" me saying someone is short is crazy). She rammed me in the back with her elbow twice and then she did the same thing to another girl in our group. Except the girl she rammed, was my friends older sister, a feisty lady in her early 30s, mother of two, strong, professional woman, and a good 6-8" taller than this lil girl. Ms. Feisty turned around and asked lil miss what her problem was. She pointed at me, and made some comment, I'm not sure exactly what it was but I know it wasn't good.

Ms. Feisty: Are you kidding me? (looking down at her)

Lil Miss: (continues rude comments)

Ms. Feisty: Pushes lil miss down to the ground by her head. She did this with one hand.

Lil Miss: falls flat on her back and gets back up and throws her drink in Ms. Feisty face and said drink is thrown in the face of one of our pregnant friends that was in the middle of the fight now.

Bouncers come and separate us all. We want them out. We told them we have 2 tables, we're here to party and will spend more money then these trashy bitches and their boyfriends (who have now shown up and are in our faces)

Manager comes back, tells us that they are giving them a 2nd chance and they know to stay out of trouble. As I am talking to the manager, Lil Miss and her stupid friends walk up right behind him and start dancing next to us again. I tell the manager that she is testing the boundaries and this isn't going to end up good. He walks away and Lil Miss starts shouting at one of my other friends we'll call AC, who is all of 90 lbs. Lil Miss is shouting all sorts of rude ass comments to AC and AC starts shouting back and then before you know it arms are being thrown and people are getting pulled apart. It was ridiculous, and then after about another 20 minutes they were made to leave the bar.

But not before Lil Miss gave us all some choice words, so we all had some nice 4 letter goodbyes for her too. Well one of the bouncers then got all up in our faces and telling us to back off. And then we were like "Close our tabs, we're out...."

We were a little worried that they would be outside to jump us. But we lucked out.

Well, now into a drama free zone.... A couple of good things about today.

I bought the Fiesta sweater at the Rue La La Lilly sale today. But I can't grad the pic. Sorry.

I'll admit, I'm not a huge Lilly fan, I'm lil more JCrew Preppy and not some much Lilly preppy. But this lil sweater grabbed my attention. If anyone isn't a Rue La La member, let me know and I'll an invite.

And last but most certainly not least, I won Ms. Muffy's Fifi giveaway, and I'm so excited. I think I see a puggie portrait in my future.
