And what better way to spend an off day with 6 of my friends and colleagues at the cinema!

The Curious Case of Benjamin Button is meaningful, and touching. It's another kind of love story, one that is flawed by the life's imperfections and marred by the passage of time.

I was about to put a popcorn in my mouth when they first revealed the ugly critter of a baby wrapped in those blankets, just newborn and already abandoned... My hand automatically moved back to the popcorn bucket again. Tracy, who was happily ingesting her sushi was revolted that she didn't feel like eating anymore.

Anyhow, I cried at the end. When she held that little boy in her arms at the end, god, if I hadn't had my eye-liner on, I would have bawled my eyes out. Yeah, I'm a sucker for tragic romance.

Just as the credits started to roll, I immediately bugged Yukana "Tissue, tissue." Tracy and co thought I was crying like shit, but actually, I only allowed 2 tear drops to fall and needed the tissue just in case it smeared up my eye make-up.

I turned around. And saw my male colleague crying too!

Hah!

Nice to know that sentimental guys still exist among us.

Liz, Vina, can't really say that this is a must-watch for you guys cause it heavily depends on the individual. If you appreciate life stories, just give this a try.

And yes, Manda, I do agree with you. I'm not a fan of Brad Pitt but watching this movie makes me appreciate his good looks even more than before! Cate Blanchett, on the other hand, was just incandescent. I can only find the word 'ethereal' befitting to describe her beauty.

Speaking of which, you people still remember my colleague, Benjamin right? The notorious prank caller.

"So, if I say, 'lets go to watch a movie together next time', what would you say?"
"When's your next off day?"
"Hmmm, next Monday."
"Oh hey! I'm off next Monday too."
"Then lets go lah."
"Er... okay."
"Seriously? You're not lying or anything?"

I was hesitating. And he knew I was.

"You know, I'm thinking that you're the TONA type of person."
"What's TONA??"
"Talk Only No Action."
"Are you insulting me?"
"Obviously."

I pointed up my index finger at him.

"You....!"

He smirked.

"Okay, fine, to prove to you that I'm not the TONA type, I'll go with you."
"Serious?"
"YES."
"Deal then."

I walked away with a :O on my face.
