Well, I'm about to show you. First, I'm going to preface this by making this statement.
Mrs. Jetplane is totally neurotic and I already know this. I'm a planner, a worrier, a drama queen, and a crazy lady.
My latest online shopping obsession is nursery furniture and bedding. I have no idea why, but I've been overcome with looking at it and fell madly in love with Pottery Barn kids. I've been getting the catalogs for a while, and always enjoyed looking at them. Mr. Jetplane was very interested in the Star Wars sheets, but we decided against it.
That being said, I love the idea of a Dr. Seuss room if its a boy. I even found this... Which is totally over the top and not what I would do, but its completely adorable.
And no, this doesn't mean that Mrs. Jetplane is going to get knocked up right when Mr. Jetplane gets home next month, but we may be practicing (wink wink). The topic is up for discussion again once we have had our 1 year anniversary in June. I've always wanted to be married at least a year before trying to have kids, that's always been my minimum. However, I never thought my 1st year of marriage would only include living with my husband maybe 5 of 12 months. But I need to keep it in perspective, he's not deployed just simply living 11 hours away from me.
But thank you all so much for your understanding and support. Its crazy that I'm talking about this on a blog, Mr. Jetplane would kill me. He already thinks I'm a little weird when I mention things I've learned through other mil wives. I talk about you guys like I know you, and in some ways I feel like I do. My heart goes out to all of you whose husbands have recently left for deployment. You are a strong group of women, and I admire each and every one of you. I hope to be as strong when Mr. Jetplane gets deployed...
