Tempted?
Dear Jonathan Adler,
I think I can speak for all of us when I say Thank You! I am never happier than when given an opportunity to win something. Maybe it's all of those sack races with my Dad I won as a kid, or those football games with my cousins on the beach where my Dad and Uncle would carry the littlest kids across the line for a touch down....sigh....good times....and the thrill never fades. And then to find out that we might be able to win stuff from JA! Now THAT is a thrill!
Stuff like this:
Rams Head Lamp
And these:
Bargello Puzzle Pillow
Bargello Chevron Pillow
Maybe a few of these:
Utopia Mugs
And all we have to do is send you our email address? I mean what could be easier, right? So Thanks for the info:

I was out and about for the Second Saturday Art Walk in Sacramento over the weekend and happened upon a cluster of new shops that have JUST OPENED! Needless to say I was very excited because the shops were all about my favorite things: design/housewares and chocolate! Today is all about this new shop:
FREDDRIC BRADFORD
Purveyors of Essential Home Goods
I was struck by their front window right away. The logo is brilliant, and the displays are wonderfully classic: Black and White.
The partners in this new enterprise, Fernando Alquicira (Nickname: Freddric) and David B. Lee (Middle Name Bradford) have created a Hollywood Regency environment reminiscent of Wearstler's Viceroy Hotel. ( I am kind of thinking that dog bowl would be perfect for my black and white dog.)
The guys had an arrangement of flowering branches on the wrap desk that took my breath away. It was at least four feet high.
Here are but a few of the lines that Freddric and Bradford is going to be carrying:
The Jonathan Adler "Happy Chic" table. The dishes are fab!
valentine's day
Brad and Fernando have a beautiful knack for artful display. And why wouldn't they? Brad is also a wonderful interior designer.
valentine's day
The shop is expecting loads more inventory in the days to come. I am thrilled to see more exciting shops making their way to Sacramento.
Here are David and Fernando! Nicer guys are hard to find. We had a fun chat about the shop and all of their plans. They were gracious, warm, and very enthusiastic about their new venture! Please come in and pay them a visit!
Located at 1801 L Street, Suite 70, Sacramento, CA 95814. Email: freddricbradford@yahoo.com. Website will be coming soon!
(Next: a chocolate shop to die for! And just in time for valentine's day . Stay tuned!)
Linda and Tim Arbogast , the husband and wife team that formed Arbogast Design Group in Sacramento, California have just opened jettmodern.
Jettmodern is a fantastic, wonderful "modern" boutique that specializes in: chic gifts, home furnishings, tchotchke, vintage upholstery and found objects. When they first opened, people were thinking of "modern" in terms of midcentury "dwr" terms. However, Linda and Tim are setting their own standards of what is modern, and thankfully so! Take a look at the definition on their wall above.
Here are some pictures of the shop for you to drool over:
This found awning is fantastic, and they have arranged it over a great mirror and French commode.
I love this combination of vintage baker's rack and birdcage with these green silk armless chairs. Don't miss the wonderful "crown" chandelier!
A close-up of the white lamp from the previous picture. The shop is located in an historical building in "Old Sacramento". (Those bricks are over 150 years old.)
The way Linda and Tim have selected items for the shop reflects their obvious design talent. I love this red Chinoiserie cabinet with the art and finds arranged on the wall. I know you all have a thing about antlers, but I am still enamoured!
Another shot of the area showing a collection of vintage glove forms. Great Faux Bois table too!
Great Jonathan Adler sideboard! Custom upholstery available. Loving the starburst mirror here. Oh! And they have put together these mini-planters inside escargot shells. Brilliant!
You will also find Dwell and John Robshaw bedding and pillows here, as well as Jonathan Adler and many other favorite designers of mine.
Just some more of the wonderful stuff to be found here. I love the limed wood candle holders, mercury glass spheres, and...and...oh there is something everywhere I turn!
I also have to say that I had a great time talking with Linda when I went in today. She was warm and gracious and very fun to talk to. Needless to say, we were definitely on the same design wavelength.
I have been waiting AGES for a shop like this to open in Sacramento, and all I can say is: IT'S ABOUT TIME! Thank you soooo much Linda and Tim!
And these regent furniture pieces! Beautiful bench slash table. At the end of a bed, as occasional tables, sky's the limit here:
A few more pieces of eye candy to drool over. Well, don't really. It's too pretty to allow that:
Loving this coffee table and console. When is the Dining Table going to be available Jonathan? I need one desperately!
Well there you have it. Another reason to shop JA.
