I love it! I've always loved peace signs (born too late for that '60s and '70s stuff) and I don't see enough of peace manifestation in this world. Kudos to Sugar Daze for these beautiful cupcakes.

As per the bakerlady herself:

"In the beginning of November, Jerome wrote to ask me if he could place a very special order for New Year's Eve. At the time, I didn't know what I would be doing or where I would be so told him that if I was in town, I'd be happy to bake for them. Boy am I sure glad we weren't able to leave on vacation this holiday!

A few weeks ago Jerome wrote to tell me his plan. He was going to propose on NYE and wanted to do it with cupcakes. I was so touched that he took me into his confidence and wanted my cupcakes to play such an important starring role. This is one of those types of orders that comes around maybe once in a lifetime!"

Congrats to the newly engaged couple and to Cat, aka Ms. Sugar Daze, baker extraordinaire.

Cupcakes prepared for a show here in France called 100% Mag on channel M6. A client is being filmed as she prepares a traditional Thanksgiving meal and she wanted these as a special treat for her kids.

These are Rogue cupcakes with hand-made marzipan and sugarpaste toppers.

Can I be honest with you? I feel I can. I hate Thanksgiving. It has always royally sucked for me and I don't recall a single good Thanksgiving experience in my past. If I could skip it, I would! As a vegetarian, I do like the harvest festival idea, but not many of my friends and family members subscribe. Regardless, I love the fall and holiday theme and images from the holiday, and these adorable and well-crafted turkey day cupcakes by Sugar Daze are perfect.
