Hope to steal some from others off of Facebook.
Side note - I was in desperate need of an eyebrow waxing so I got mine did at a Mastercuts near Mr's brother's house and he decided he'd get a haircut. Poor guy the woman brutalized his hair...he is still livid. Just because he's in the military people doesn't mean he gets a buzzcut...poor guy :(

valentine's day This week's Pug Friday photo reminds me our our dogs. They are all about trying to lick the dishes in the dishwasher as you're loading it. And all your hear from me is..."No!" "What did I just say?" "No! No! No!"
I miss him for all the standard reasons...its lonely in bed at night, I like someone there that can reach top shelf of cabinets, someone to unload the dishwasher, take out the trash, pick up the dog poop in the yard...you know the usual.
10. I will drink copious amounts of champagne...out of red wine glasses.
Well you can find there lazy butts on the couch...that is when dad's not home!!!
For those of you keeping score - Mrs. Jetplane 0 Mouse 2.
To be completely honest, I think this is a new mouse, we were mouse free for 2 months or so. We live out in the country and its not uncommon for mice around here we've been told. I cleaned out pantry and didn't find any holes where he could be coming in. I think he might be coming in from the laundry room, but still haven't figured out where...
3. This weekend we took the dogs to the vet to get their shots, got lost in the middle of nowhere because my GPS doesn't even know where we are when we're at our house (since we live in BFE)...just to find out that Mr. (my navigator in life and in the jet) took us the most round about way. We showed up 20 minutes late...FYI its only 7 miles away from the house.
6. The Jetplanes took their first time to Sam's Club together this weekend. We bought Gatorade, Garlic Bread, Lunch Meat, Hand Soap, Protein Drinks (Mr.), Granola Bars, Fruit, etc. On the way home Mr Jetplane turns to me and asks... "What happened to us?" Ha ha.
valentine's day 8. The parental units are coming tomorrow. I have to pick them up from the Raleigh airport tomorrow evening...
valentine's day (Front Porch prior to yesterday) Scene: Wednesday afternoon around 4:45pm
(Milo is gonna drive, Charlie is gonna hold the map...cross your fingers we get there!)
Thank you to Nina for all help and special thanks to Mrs. Newlywed for helping me be creative and witty, when it felt very hard to come by.
Nina is very easy to work with and does a fabulous job, so if you're in the market for a holiday card, moving announcement, etc... check her out.
Disclaimer: I was not compensated for the shout out!!

Meet Nullah, our newest little diva. She has an "on" switch and an "off" switch. So please forgive the photo quality. I am dealing with a subject who just cannot hold a pose, unless she is in the "off" position.
She immediately let us know that the floor was not her idea of an appropriate resting place.
But Cooper quickly started to show her the ropes. Notice that he has been relegated to the cold hard floor. Such a nice big brother.
"Off" switch. She is so tuckered out from racing around the yard, eating the flowers from all of the flower beds, trying out all of the upholstery items, and redecorating our Family Room to a very "Zen" look, that the floor was OK. But just this once.
She is learning quickly the best spots to watch Tim make dinner. Cooper is turning out to be the perfect big brother.
I hope to get some better pictures soon. My computer had a tiny meltdown, (hence the the slow down in posts....well that, and the new puppy!) and my previous photo editing program is no longer functioning. This is my first shot at using Picasa. I am finding that when manipulating/editing photos, the resolution gets worse and worse. Picasa looked like it would be great at first, but not happy with the results so far. Maybe it's me. Anyone have any tips? Anyone have any tips?

valentine's day I am reposting a portion of her post here...

Charlie is an American Bulldog and is almost 2 years old. Mr. Jetplane asked me if we could get him less than a week after he proposed.
I never wanted a big dog, but how can a girl say no after she's been proposed to...
valentine's day Charlie is about 100lbs and is pretty sure that he is a lap dog. He is convinced that he and Milo are the same size.
